Transmit (FTP client)
Transmit is an FTP client for Mac OS X and Mac OS history|Mac OS Classic (which is unsupported). Developed by Panic (company)|Panic, Transmit is shareware - after a 15 day trial period, some features of the product are disabled until it has been purchased.
The current version, Transmit 3, includes a number of new features, like uploading using a Dashboard (software)|Dashboard Widget (computing)|widget or the Dock (computing)|dock, support for .Mac and iDisk/WebDAV, Spotlight (software)|Spotlight and Automator (software)|Automator plugins and more.
Transmit was also made for Mac OS Classic, but it has been discontinued and made freeware.

Transmit has a number of unique features, many of which take advantage of new technologies Apple has introduced in OS X 10.4. Some of them include:
