Intent
Intent in law is the planning and desire to perform an Criminal act|act, to fail to do so (i.e. an Omission (criminal)|omission) or to achieve a state of affairs in psychological view it may mean a different thing.
In criminal law, for a given ''actus reus'' ("guilty act"), the required Element (criminal)|element to prove intent consists of showing ''mens rea'' (mental state, "guilty mind").
The requirements for the proof of intent in tort law are generally simpler than criminal law. Knowledge of the repercussions of the act is often not necessary. It is sometimes only a matter of showing that there was desire to perform an act.

"Intent" is the name of a band from Wellington New Zealand, 2002-2004. Intent released 3 recordings, 10" discs made at the Geraldine pressing plant on clear plastic. The band was considered so underground that it was unclear even to the members if they existed.
The only mention of the band is found here: link Matt Guthrie Hardy Lathe Cut 10" EP self released NZ *** There were in fact 3 discs made, pressings of 80 units in total. Listings included: Sex Brain Machine, Do Rock & Roll, Missile Attack
The unreleased complete album was entitled Swarf. The complete back-catalogue is available for no charge through Uncooked Records.Related Images
