Sorghastrum nutans


Indiangrass (''Sorghastrum nutans''), also called Indian grass, is a North American prairie grass, and is the official state grass of both Oklahoma and South Carolina. Indiangrass is a Perennial plant|perennial bunchgrass, prominent in tallgrass prairie, along with big bluestem (''Andropogon gerardii''), little bluestem (''Schizachyrium scoparium''), and switchgrass (''Panicum virgatum'').
