Geneticists can work in many different fields, doing a variety of jobs. There are many careers for geneticists in medical genetics|medicine, agriculture, wildlife, general sciences or many other fields. It has been suggested that geneticists going into employment in scientific research should honour a Hippocratic Oath for Scientists.
