WBOC-TV is the CBS-affiliated television station for the Delmarva Peninsula that is licensed to Salisbury, Maryland. WBOC-TV broadcasts a high-definition television|high definition digital signal on UHF channel 21 from a transmitter in the Ralphs section of Laurel, Delaware. Owned by Draper Holdings Business Trust, the station's main studios are in Salisbury with satellite newsrooms in Dover and Milton, Delaware. television syndication|Syndicated programming on WBOC includes: ''Entertainment Tonight'', ''Dr. Phil (TV series)|Dr. Phil'', ''The Oprah Winfrey Show'', and ''Let's Make a Deal''.

Digital programming

Their signal is multiplexed. They operate the area's Fox Network|Fox affiliate on a WBOC-DT2|second digital subchannel. Unlike most digital subchannels, WBOC-DT2 is one of the few that identifies with their physical digital channel number (21) rather than a virtual channel (16.2) through Program and System Information Protocol|PSIP. http://www.digitaltvtrainer.com/wboc/wboc-over-the-air Therefore, this station is known on-air as '''''Fox 21 Delmarva'''''. They can also be seen on Comcast and Mediacom channel 5 as well as in high-definition television|high definition on Comcast digital channel 213.

Newscasts

WBOC currently produces over 32 hours of news per week. This includes on the weekdays a morning broadcast from 5-7AM, a noon broadcast, a 5pm broadcast exclusively seen on FOX21 Delmarva, 6pm, 7pm, The WBOC News @ 10 on FOX21, and The WBOC News @ 11. Those seen weekdays and on the weekends 8-9AM in the morning, Saturday's at 7pm, Sunday's at 6pm, 10pm on FOX21 and The WBOC News @ 11. This does not include the constant newsbreaks throughout the day. On August 26, 2008, WBOC began to broadcast newscast in high definition and the editions on WBOC-DT2 were included in the upgrade. In addition to their main studios, they operate bureaus in Milton, Delaware|Milton and Dover, Delaware|Dover (on South Dupont Highway). All broadcasts except those seen on WBOC-DT2, can be seen via live streaming video on WBOC's website.
