Meshkinshahr (; also known as '''Meshkin Shahr''' or '''Meshkin-Shahr''') is a historic city in Ardabīl Province|Ardabil province, Iran, near the mountain of Sabalan and the coast of the Caspian Sea.
The city is well-known for its Persian rugs and its mineral springs. Iran's first geothermal power plant was constructed in the city.
