Manzini

Manzini is a market town in central Swaziland and is the nation's largest city and main industry|industrial centre. Population is 73,000 (2004). Known as '''Bremersdorp''' until 1960. It is the capital of the Manzini District. The town was a United Kingdom|British/Boer colonial headquarters from 1890 but was destroyed in 1902 amid the Second Boer War|Anglo-Boer War, when the administrative centre was transferred to Mbabane. Matsapha Airport lies near the town. Manzini is home to a Nazarene High School, which has a successful school choir.
